The District continues to see an increase in incidents from year to year. In 2024 the District responded to 2892 calls.  Currently we average about 8 calls a day. The majority of our calls are medical service calls (75%). The rest of the calls range from motor vehicle accidents, water rescue, service calls,CPR calls, structure fires and vegitation fires. Here is just a quick glance at 2026 to date .(FYI our system codes things differently - we have had NO firefighter deaths. The statistic you see is representative of on duty injuries.)
