First Aid & CPR Classes with Key Peninsula Fire

ahaImagine you're at the airport, waiting for a plane, and the person next to you suddenly slumps over. What would you do?

Most likely, you would immediately call 911 or request emergency assistance. This step is the first link in the Chain of Survival, a four-step intervention process which, if followed quickly and efficiently, can help save the lives of victims of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).

Presently, SCA claims over 250,000 lives yearly in the U.S., but a strong Chain of Survival could dramatically reduce this number. When each link in the Chain is effective, an estimated 40,000 lives could be saved.
